for =euphoricdesire-stocks season's in the sun contest. i feel that this piece portrays summer by the sense of warmth as well as the sense of freedom it exudes. summer is a chance to 'let your hair down' so to speak and to let all your cares go and to be able to do things that you wouldn't normally have time to do and go places you don't normally go.
resources: model -  hair brushes -  background -  cardinal -  i think i've definitely grown as a photomanipulator since i originally created this piece. on an artistic level, i think that i've learned better how to blend in the model with the background and not to have that cut-and-paste or floating model feeling to it. |
